Katie is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in evidence-based care and holistic treatment approaches. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mississippi State University and a Master’s degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice.

Katie previously worked in community mental health and has honed her skills in diagnosing and treating a diverse range of psychiatric conditions, including psychosis, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism, addiction, trauma, and OCD. 

She emphasizes patient education, using therapy tools and techniques when appropriate, and fostering a therapeutic alliance to empower her patients in their journey to wellness.

Committed to providing a safe and supportive environment, Katie strives to be a trusted partner in her patients’ recovery, helping them regain optimal functioning and overall well-being. Her ultimate goal is to guide individuals towards living their best lives.

Outside of the office, Katie loves expressing creativity with doing amateur pottery/ceramics, spending time with family and friends, cooking, and traveling.
