About Shan Monroe
LCSW
Shan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She has over 15 years of experience providing support to individuals of all ages. She has professional experience addressing many mental health needs across a variety of settings, from in-home support to clinical environments.
Based on Shan’s experiences, she understands that life has a way of throwing curve balls, beach balls, and occasionally stressors that may feel like a ton of bricks. Using a wide range of clinical skills, Shan will effectively explore and help clients navigate tough times. Pulling from her expertise with stress, depression, worry, and life transitions, she focuses on helping clients achieve goals and improve their quality of life.
Shan earned a BSW from Florida Atlantic University and later obtained a graduate degree from Barry University. She is also a certified clinical trauma professional.
Shan believes that one of the benefits of life is that we don’t have to suffer alone. As your therapist, it would be her pleasure to assist you while using clinical approaches that would fit your needs.
